I loved this place! It was a mile at the most from the ocean and Leucadia beach…spacious rooms and super friendly staff! (They let me check in early.) the only thing I have to criticize is that it’s pretty small compared to other motels …

Quaint motel. Rooms are around a courtyard with seats placed outside rooms. The rooms have 2 hobs for cooking on, a microwave, pots and pans, coffee maker, utensils, and cutlery and plates. There's a table with 2 chairs for eating at. The bed is really comfy. There is an air conditioning unit. Tod checked us in and was super friendly. Recommended some restaurants and told us the way to the beach. Granted, the 101 is just outside your door and railway line. We had a great sleep. Excellent location for San Diego to the south and San Clemente to the north.

We arrived after hours and messaged last minute to arrange late check in but everything was perfectly prepared when we arrived. I can’t express our appreciation enough. The room was great and staff was incredibly respectful. 100% will make this our first night stop anytime we fly back home.

Wonderful place to stay on the coast for a getaway from LA. Close walk to the beach for sunsets, great rooms, comfy beds and friendly staff. Tacos next door are truly awesome. My favorite place to stay in Encinitas.

We had an excellent stay here. Rooms have large beds, table and chairs for eating, a kitchenette area with microwave, fridge, washing up area and coffee maker. Plus a small bathroom. 10 min walk to lovely sunset beach location. Plenty of restaurants nearby. They kindly lent us some small beach chairs(since we were from the UK and couldn't bring on the plane 😁) short drive to a variety of beaches. Our favorite was moonlight beach.

We had a wonderful stay here with our two dogs. We really enjoyed the location, all the dining options within walking distance. The room was well equipped with the kitchenette and amenities. We appreciated the heater, refrigerator and toaster. The room was clean and just what we needed for our stay. Excellent customer service. We will definitely be staying here again

Bait and switch. This place is a scam. The manager was rude and the room was dirty. The shower was a warming trickle. I stayed in 5 different area hotels during March and this one was the worst. Avoid this one. There are nicer hotels for the same coat closet to the beach.

We are celebrating our 1 year anniversary and we were very pleased. I am a very picky person when it comes to choosing hotels, airbnb, motel etc. This place is probably one of the best places we’ve stayed at. It is so adorable and the staff were great! Clean!! We will definitely choose this place again when we’re back in California. Highly recommend!
